MSP Statement re Crossroads Closure On Skye

Dave Thompson contacted Highland Council to ask for a delay in signing the contract to provide adult care services in Skye and Lochalsh to allow further consideration of the case made by Crossroads but this suggestion was rejected.
“We contacted Highland Council to ask for a delay but were very disappointed to be told that they feel unable to delay for legal reasons,” Mr Thompson said. “However Highland Council have offered to work with Crossroads and the new service provider on Skye in the future.”
