1. Why should Scotland become Independent?
Scotland is a country with distinct needs which are not currently being served by the UK Government. Our farmers, fishermen, police officers and teachers all have priorities which do not line up with the Coalition Government, and Independence would allow us to implement the policies that are best for the people of Scotland.
2. What do you think is the single biggest advantage for the Highlands or Moray if the country stays within the UK or goes it alone?
The big advantage of Scottish Independence would be the ability to work for and develop specific policies for our own specific needs. Like farming and fishing policies which are better suited to the communities across the Highlands and Islands, rather than designed to favour the large industrial farms in the South East of England.
