Strathspey and Badenoch Herald.
Dear Sir.
Tory Edward Mountain, Strathspey and Badenoch Herald 16 April 2015, bemoans the lack of broadband in the Strath.
What a short memory he has. Last year the Tory/LibDem government auctioned of the new 4G spectrum for mobile phones and broadband but only insisted on 95% coverage of Scotland. You can guess where the 5% is.
Many other European countries when selling the 4G spectrum insisted on coverage of their rural communities.
The Tory/LibDem Govt didn't because they wanted a higher price for the London Treasury.
They sold us down the river and now have the cheek to call for better coverage.
Yours sincerely.
