Christine Forbes' letter on the speed humps must have hit home for Cllr Alex Graham of the LibDems to have been roused from his slumber to respond in your letter columns (Inverness Courier 22 Sept.).

The LibDem leaflet referred to by Mrs Forbes was typical of their misleading material which often implies that they are responsible for the successes highlighted.

Cllr Graham can achieve the spirit of openness and honesty he claims to want by ensuring that appropriate credit is given in his leaflets in future to those, like the Community Council, who have actually done the work.

I look forward to that but think that pigs will fly first.
