Mr David Green, West Highland Free Press 6^th December, is remarkably reticent about his political affiliations which are listed, if one looks on social websites, as Youth Spokesperson for Better Together and President of Liberal Youth Scotland. He also has interned for Danny Alexander MP and Charles Kennedy MP, and is a Member of the Scottish Youth Parliament.

Could he be aware that if he made these affiliations known more widely his letters would be read with more than a little cynicism by folk in the Highlands and Islands suffering at the hands of his lords and masters who are supporting the Con-Dem Government in Westminster?

Because, without the Lib-Dems the Conservatives would have formed a minority administration and they would have had to take every one of their reprehensible policies through a free vote in Parliament.

Would we then have:

1.      The Bedroom Tax?

2.      Food Banks which more and more Highland folk have to turn to?

3.      1 in 6 Scottish children living in poverty?

4.      Plans to spend £100 billion over the next 30 years on a new nuclear deterrent which cannot be used?

5.      The fourth most unequal country in the developed world?

6.      An 11% rise in the past year to almost 3,000 bankers who earn over one million euros per annum in the City of London?

Is David Green proud of these achievements which a No vote will only perpetuate and worsen?

Has anyone forgotten the Lib-Dem promise not to increase University Tuition fees? Do Liberals feel shame? Clearly Mr Green does otherwise he would sign himself off as a Lib-Dem, and proud of it (sic)
